The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced significant changes for the CUET-UG 2025 session:

- Mandatory Questions : The concept of optional questions has been abolished; all questions are now compulsory.
- Flexibility in Subject Choice : Candidates are allowed to select subjects they may not have studied in Class 12, encouraging a broader academic pursuit.
