CAT 2025: Key Exam Highlights

  • Conducted By: One of the IIMs (on a rotational basis), under the supervision of the IIM Council

  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

    1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)

    2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

    3. Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

  • Marking Scheme:
    +3 for each correct answer
    -1 for incorrect answers (MCQs only)
    No negative marking for non-MCQs (TITA)

    Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
