Introduction
AD MAD is a fun and creative activity designed to help students learn the art of advertising through imagination, humour, and teamwork. In today’s world, advertisements play an important role in influencing people’s choices and decisions. This activity gives students an opportunity to understand how ideas can be presented in an interesting and persuasive way.
Through short skits, posters, and presentations, students express their creativity, improve communication skills, and build confidence while learning in an enjoyable and practical manner.

Objective of the Activity
This activity aims to develop creativity, communication skills, and teamwork through the art of advertisement making.
Students will:
- Think creatively and originally
- Improve communication and presentation skills
- Understand how advertisements attract and persuade people
- Develop teamwork, coordination, and confidence
- Experience fun and practical learning
- Students will be divided into groups of 8–10 members
- Each group will prepare one advertisement

How the Activity Will Be Conducted
Step 1: Choose the Product/Idea
- Real or imaginary product
- Examples: snack, toy, gadget, eco-product, social cause
- Encourage originality
Step 2: Identify the Purpose
- What action should the audience take?
- Buy?
- Learn?
- Support?
Step 3: Know the Target Audience
- Kids / Parents / Teachers / General public
- Tone should match the audience
Step 4: Add Humour
- Funny situations
- Exaggeration
- Creative characters or mascots
- Keep humour positive and respectful
Step 5: Include Information
- Mention 2–3 clear benefits or facts
- Balance fun with useful details
Step 6: Create a Catchy Slogan
- Short and memorable
- Rhyming or rhythmic
Examples: - “Snack Smart, Laugh Loud!”
- “Think Fast, Learn Smart!”
Step 7: Design the Advertisement
- Poster presentation
- Role play/skit

Step 8: Rehearse & Present
